At GRP, we adapt and evolve to cater to the needs of our customers.
Operating from the Tanjong Penjuru factory in Singapore, the Hose
& Marine business has been serving the onshore/offshore, marine,
oil, pharmaceutical and petrochemical markets for over 25 years.
We offer one of the largest range of rubber hoses in the region, covering
onshore/marine loading hoses, industrial/chemical hoses, marine engineering
products and services and hose fittings, and are the authorised distributor
for Goodyear, Dunlop and Tokai.
 Being the exclusive
master distributor (Asia Pacific) for the Todo-matic Dry-Break and
the KLAW Breakaway couplings, we offer innovative products use in
the safe applications that protects loading and unloading systems
from expensive damage and downtime whilst minimizing pollution risks
in the transfer of liquids, gases and powders.
 To tap on our
strength in providing quality hoses and hose fittings, fenders, marine
rubber goods, and to enhance our competitive strength, we have recently
diversified into marine technical services. These include ship-to-ship
tanker cargo transfer options and logistics support services for salvage
operations.
With in-house expertise in the design and manufacture of hose fittings
and coupling in general, as well as per customers’ specifications,
we are now able to provide engineering services such as the assembly
and swaging of hose fittings onto hoses. This capability makes us
one of only three companies in the world with the expertise to swage
hose fittings onto the large bore hoses used in very high-pressure
environments.

 MEASURING INSTRUMENTS/METROLOGY
DIVISION
This is our assurance of service to our customers.
Our Measuring Instrument/Metrology Division has an excellent
track record in the trade and distribution of precision measuring
instruments and equipment and maintains cost-effective operations
through an exceptional distribution network. Based in Singapore
and with four branch offices in Malaysia, the company represents
several internationally renowned brands within the precision measuring
sector, including Imada, Vision and Motic, and has represented Mitutoyo
in the ASEAN region for over 44 years.
With more than 30% of our products exported outside Singapore, we
have established a regional network covering all the ASEAN countries
and India to better serve our customers and to cater to their expansion
plans. This allows us to send a team of specialists to any place
in this region should the need arises.
Our computerised distribution techniques with an integrated inventory
system also enable us to maximize the speed and efficiency at which
our customers receive their orders. We have installed a computerised
sub-station at our dealer’s premise to allow customers to
access our on-line inventory status at the push of a button. This
has enhanced the overall efficiency of order-to-delivery time.

uPVC PIPES & FITTINGS
Singapore quality at China prices
Under the umbrella of GRP (China) Pte Ltd, are Shanghai Xinda Building
Material Co., Ltd., a production facility for uPVC pipe extrusion
based in Shanghai; SuZhou XingHai Plastic Products Co., Ltd., a
production facility for uPVC pipe fittings based in SuZhou.
Shanghai Xinda Building Material has been providing quality extruded
uPVC pipes for over seven years for the domestic construction industry
and enjoys a strong recognition for quality with the “Arrow”
brand.
SuZhou XingHai Plastic Products provides a broad range of quality
fittings in the electrical, pressure, DWV, and rubber/sewer sectors
primarily for the export market, with more than 15 countries receiving
our quality products. The business operates under its own brands
“Arrow” and “STAR” range but also undertakes
OEM production.
Operating since 1976, the company pioneered the design and manufacture
of plastic fittings and its experience, combined with the latest
injection machinery, ensures the efficiency and high quality of
the finished product.

 INDUSTRIAL
& COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
With the purchase of a 8800 square metre factory in 1990, GRP was
able to provide better services to its customers. With bigger space,
all manufacturing and servicing activities of couplings and fittings,
swaging and testing of hoses for the Hose & Marine Division, are
now integrated under one roof. Thus, improving the customer service
given to our valued clients.
 In
1996, construction of an 11,000 square metre industrial and commercial
office building in Singapore was initiated and was completed in 1997.
This building will provide GRP with the industrial space needed for
future expansions of the Group.
